Day 92: Travelling over the Blue Mountains
I headed to the parentals' abode in Bathurst today which requires crossing the Great Dividing Range. My husband has to work :( so I am travelling alone and as he is not convinced of my driving ability he made me travel over the Blue Mountains via Katoomba rather than Bells line of road (which is quicker but more treacherous). It was quite painful with all the 60s plus road work (why is there always road work at Christmas and Easter?!) coupled with the long weekend traffic. The whole thing took me 4 hours instead of 3 to 3.5 hours.
